I remember being at a Women’s Conference at my friend’s church and in the midst of worship I threw my hands up in the air and said to God, “Whatever you want me to do I’ll do it!” He responded, “Throw out your vibrator.” Embarrassed and perplexed, I went home and threw out Jorge (that’s what I called my vibrator). I didn’t know that my obedience was going to lead me to victory in a battle with lust and ultimately giving up masturbation. Check out the full video for the story. I also talk about how I maintain walking in purity by setting boundaries to ensure that I don’t slip again.

This was so good. I was going through this on Monday and I had to pray it away. I don’t necessarily think masturbating is a sin but it can lead to other things. It opens the door to lust and temptation. I think when I’m married it’s okay to masturbate because I’ll have my husband to have sex with when the lust builds up.
Btw I love your shirt.

Thank you so much for your response. I didn’t think masturbation was a sin either, but I totally agree that it can lead to other things. After spending much time with God andddddd being convicted each time I masturbated I now think outside of marriage it is a sin and in the marriage if your motive and intention is not for your husband then it is also a sin. But that’s a whole other conversation. And thank you, I got the shirt from Amazon!
