God Delivered Me From the Spirit of Divination

I’m dropping details about the spirit of divination, why it attacks prophets, and how it manifests. **GRAB YOUR PEN AND PAPER**

God delivered me from the Spirit of Divination. The crazy thing is, I didn’t even know that I was oppressed by it. See, I grew up in a church that believed Christians didn’t need deliverance. Because Jesus Christ died on the cross, that means He broke all curses and disarmed all demon powers Col 2:15.

And this is true; however, Christians still need deliverance.

This is the reason why many of us feel oppressed. God set us free, but we do live in a Kingdom that operates under law and order. And by Kingdom, I’m referring to the Kingdom of God.

Our Father, is a great Judge, and He’s not too keen on going against His laws. So when we break a law, we allow the enemy access into our lives. Acknowledging this is the first step to deliverance. (I’ll cover this in another blog)

That’s why a lot of us are still battling generational curses today. Some us feel bound by “the system” and we seem to be so far behind in life. Or there are many christians that feel sick all the time. There’s no medical explanation for it, but you’re always sick. Chances are you need deliverance.

And the only way to do that is by understanding what Demon has a legal right to you, your stuff, and your health. And break it so you can be free. If you want to learn more about breaking generational curses then feel free to check out this video HERE.

I have a saying, “God created us to be free and loved, anything contrary to that needs healing and deliverance.”

• If you find yourself always angry you need to be delivered from the spirit of anger or the spirit of rage
• If you find yourself sleeping around and masturbating uncontrollably then you need to be delivered from the spirit of rejection and lust. I actually have a blog on this and you can check it out HERE.
• If you find that your prophecies are tainted, you can’t breathe when you pray, and you physically feel constricted then you need to be delivered from the spirit of divination.

What is the spirit of Divination

The spirit of divination is the python spirit or it’s also known as the spirit of witch craft. This spirit gives illegal access into the spirit world by giving dreams and visions to people.

There’s nothing wrong with entering the spirit world, in fact it’s normal. We should spend as much time here as possible with God. Apostle Paul says, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” Gal 5:25. In this scripture He breaks down why we should die to our flesh and live in the Spirit. When you live by Holy Spirit, He will lead you into all truth. Truth including our purpose for operating in the spirit world.

The issues is when you enter the spirit world without Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is our guide, He’s the one still teaching us today. He wants to reveal spiritual things to us, but through His love and on His time. 

The Spirit of divination, wants to assume the position of “god” in our life, often times sounding like Holy Spirit. 

But his motives is always to lead us away from God’s will. This spirit deceives psychics, witches, and new agers. It convinces them that they can operate in the spirit realm without God. Thus, leading them outside of God’s will.

Now before you start thinking I’m picking on new agers, let me also say, that some Christians are being led by the spirit of divination and don’t even know it. Like me, when I got delivered, God told me that the spirit of divination was tainting my prophecies. I had no idea that the spirit had been part of my life for a long time. But that’s why we gotta trust God. He knows all things, sees all things, and knows what we need to be delivered from.

The Spirit of Divination has a hold on people, churches, and whole nations.

But in the presence of God all things must submit. We can see the spirit of divination in Acts 16, where the Apostle Paul, casts it out of a young girl. See HERE:

¹⁶ Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. ¹⁷ She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” ¹⁸ She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

 This scripture is so interesting because the girl didn’t say anything wrong about Apostle Paul and Silas. She was speaking the truth and yet Paul still discerned that this spirit was not of God. The Spirit of Divination does tell the truth, it’s part of the reason why some psychics are really good at their job. Because the spirit of divination has given them keen insight.

But again, the problem is getting that insight from any spirit, but Holy Spirit. And that’s why Paul told the spirit of divination to come out of the girl. She had illegal access to the spirit world, her gift of prophecy could have been tainted and then her masters pimped her gift.

How to Get Delivered From The Spirit of Divination

God does not want us to be slaves, not to people and definitely not to spirits. That’s why healing and deliverance is so important to a Christian.

You’ll see in my video, that I didn’t know I was oppressed, but I was getting attacked by the python spirit anyways. It wrapped itself around me and constricted so hard that I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t deliver the word of God, I was on the floor crying, and I wanted to give up. That’s what this spirit does to God’s people, especially if you operate in the prophetic. If God had not delivered me from this spirit I would still be bound.

The key to any deliverance is discovering the legal right, letting go of satan’s lies, and holding on to God’s truth. But the only way to be effective is to listen to what Holy Spirit tells you to do and DO IT!
